Jon Glik

Born in Boulder Colorado, Jon D. Glik, (known as "Baltimore Jonny"), has been playing the fiddle professionally for over 50 years.
When Jon was 18 he visited the North Carolina Union Grove Fiddlers Convention and immediately wanted to learn the fiddle.
Jon started his own band called the Chesapeake Retrievers and later on joined Walter Hensley and the Dukes of Bluegrass where he learned to love the music.
He has toured and recorded with legends such as Frank Wakefield, Dave Evans, Bob & Dan Paisley, Del McCoury, David Grisman,
the Forbes Family and many others as well. Jon was a member of the Folk group The Hard Travelers and as a member helped raise 1 million dollars
for Cystic Fibrosis and other charities. Jon also worked with Footworks, a dance group performing at Elementary & High schools doing work shops and assemblies.
For over 25 years Jon has been a long standing member of Bluestone.
Jon has literally been around the world playing his fiddle, igniting crowds with his musicianship and imagination.
